About The Dogtown Neighborhood
Dogtown is a historic neighborhood in Saint Louis known for its Irish heritage. It is located south of Forest Park, with its southeastern edge abutting the traditionally Italian section of town, The Hill neighborhood. The boundaries of Dogtown are Oakland Avenue on the north, Macklind Avenue on the east, and McCausland Avenue on the west.
Its southern boundary is generally Manchester Avenue, but between Hampton and Dale Avenues, the southern boundary extends to Interstate 44. Dogtown is not one of the 79 Neighborhoods of St. Louis recognized by the city government. Instead, it is an area with four neighborhoods and part of a fifth: Clayton-Tamm, Franz Park, Hi-Pointe, Cheltenham, and the eastern portion of Ellendale.

Meet the Hosts
We are Alyssa and Andy, a married couple of Saint Louis natives, residing on the other side of the Missouri River near Saint Charles. We think the Midwest is a beautiful place to live centrally and experience the diversity of all four seasons each year. This is where most of our relatives are and where we’ve chosen to root down as we start our own family.
Our work allows us to collaborate remotely with people all over the world. Entrepreneurship and emerging tech are among our greatest passions, along with music and literature. Cooking, hosting dinner parties and playdates with our kids are also among our favorite things to do.
Hospitality is our latest interest, and we are dedicated to providing guests with a five-star lodging experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to host families passing through the city of Saint Louis.

We had an awesome stay at the Dogtown Dojo. We loved how big the kitchen and dining area are so everyone can hang out together. Also, the kitchen is beautifully furnished and updated. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless. It's located near everything we had hoped to see and do while we were there.
